Premade browny mixs (any premade mixes cake, cookie or otherwise) should NOT be consumed if they are expired many of these contain things such as eggs which can make you seriously ill if consumed after they go bad.
That being said if it is a dry, add everything yourself mix then most likely it is still good, I've personally used dry mixes upwards of 2 years past their date with little in terms of problems (rising mixes not rising) and they've still tasted
