They don't put them in there, they end up there by accident. All foods that involve grinding up plant matter have insect bits in them as it's impossible to keep insects off your plants. So not only chocolate (processed cocoa beans), but also applesauce/juice, tomato soup, peanut butter... you know the drill. It's also probably not eight legs per bar but per... far more chocolate.
