It can be stored without the help of refrigeration for upto 6 months also and can be used as a valuable resource during food scarcity. The vegetable contains various minerals and nutrients such as vitamin C, potassium, vitamin B6 and manganese and can be used in many healthy dishes. Also, it has dietary fiber, which is important to improve digestion and prevent constipation.
