As far as I know there are two sorts of Gooseberries, the greenish ones and the reddish ones. In the Netherlands [Holland and the provinces Eastward of it] the greenish/yellowish ones are the best known sort. The inside is colored just as the outside, with the somewhat darker kernels in it. As far as I remember the reddish gooseberries are almost the same inside, maybe with a slight touch of red in it.
