How do you Get a Shiny Charmander?

In the current generation of Pokemon games, the chances of encountering a shiny Pokemon are slightly more than one in every four thousand encounters. The best chance of obtaining a shiny Charmander would be through breeding. It will take many tries, but eventually one of the eggs produced by breeding a Charizard and a Ditto should result in a shiny Charmander.

Unless you're cheating, you can only get a shiny charizard by evolving a charmander, which you can only find randomly by hatching charmander. Every time you encounter a Pokemon in the wild for the first time or hatch a Pokemon there's a chance for that Pokemon to be shiny, however it is very rare to encounter a shiny Pokemon.

in Pokemon fire red or leaf green you save when your getting charmander and then pick it and check if its a shiny if not turn off game and keep checking if it is still not a shiny keep turning it off and check again keep doing this until you have a shiny

You have to randomly fish up a shiny Dratini in Mt. Coronet and evolve it into Dragonite, but you're wasting your time by thinking you can easily get a shiny, because they're almost impossibly rare.

The best I can say is to keep breeding repeatedly. It helps to breed a Charmander-Charmelion-or-Charizard with a Ditto from another language, like Japanese. (You can also look on the GTS.)

i think when you start the game there is a rare chance of your starter being a shiny pokemon. another option is to probably trade with someone who has a shiny charizard
