Is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince good?

Well it depends. If you really like the books you most likely won't like the film that much because it misses a lot out but if you've never read the books - or don't care much about what is kept in then you'll love it.

Everybody will have different opinions and it depends if your talking about the book or the movie. Remember, some people don't read the books (or like) but enjoy the movies. Some love the books and don't enjoy the movies so much but still watch them. Here are some thoughts from different people:

• In terms of the book I think its excellent!

• I thoroughly enjoyed the book but the movie was awful. If I watched the movie and completely forget everything I learned in the books I would be very confused but I think I could enjoy it. However as someone who loves the books I was disappointed. They changed so much of it and the main storyline instead of being about the Half-Blood Prince and the history of Voldemort was about teenage romance, which is fine for other sagas but Harry Potter isn't a never will be a romance story. It's fantasy with romance involved. I think Steve Kloves (screenwriter) and David Yates (director) tried to hard to make it appealing to teenage girls.

In my opinion, it is a wonderful movie. BUT!! You may not like it. In order to know if you like it or not, you must watch it, for it is a matter of opinion. Hope this helped! :)

It isn't scary, just some underwater dead people jump out and try to kill Harry and Dumbledore

i think.... maybe at the end where Dumbledore died. But there's no reason to cry about it
