Well when Ash started his journey, pikachu HATED him. So Ash had to tie him up in a rope. Then Ash let pikachu go because he wanted to be freinds. Ash then looks over and spots a pidgey he tells pikachu to attack it but pikachu nods no way !! Ash then tries to capture it by himself he throws a pokeball but the pidgey escapes. After that Ash looks to find what looks like a nother pidgey . This time he throws a rock first it hits "pidgey".This is when it gets UGLY .Sparrow a different bird Pokemon gets hit. The flock ATTACKS . Ash and pikachu run and end up in a river . Misty feels a bite on her pole and, finds ash and pikachu on her line . Ash borrows Misty's bike and make another run for it but the Sparrow Attack this time it hits the bike.Ash then says come and get me but pikachu realized that Ash does care Pikachu jumps in the way and uses thundershock and faints the flock . Ash then trusts pikachu from now on in the series.They become Best Buddies.
