The easiest way to reduce acid rain would be to stop burning fossil fuels to generate energy. However, as this is not possible, other measures have to be considered. Some of the actions that are taking place are:
- buying cleaner coal to burn in power stations
- install scrubbers to smoke stacks, which catch 95% of Sulphur Dioxide emissions
- install catalytic converters to cars to trap Nitrogen Oxide emissions.
These measures have been very successful in the United Sates, according to the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
destroy the factories that produce pollution XD
With enough acid rain, there could be a huge impact on buildings. If a building gets enough acid rain, they have been known to grow limbs and move to another location with less acid rain.
Acid rain is acid rain.
"acid rain" is a corrosive acid that is built up from fumes given off by most commercial cars in crowded cities... that if built up over time cause a precipitation of rain that corrodes most surfaces... the acid could be either sulfuric or nitric acid
Add lime and other chemicals that neutralize acid
Vegetation is affected by acid rain by coming in contact with the acid rain can kill the plants. Hope this helps. :)
Sandstone could be affected by acid rain as it is chemical erosion.
Not directly; carbon doxide can cause an acid rain.

Acid rain is acid rain.
The fish could swallow the contaminated water and get into there system and they could die OR the acid rain could destroy their habitat and kill the plants and greenery.
Acid rain is not a solution but a problem, and can be reduced through use of low sulfur coal, and controlling emissions.
rain with acid
You bet CaCO3(s) IS BASIC AND DISSOLVES IN ACID RAIN MOSTLY SULFURIC.
You could add milk, cream or butter to decrease the acid in tomato juice.
Yes, Acid rain is rain with higher than normal levels of nitric and sulfuric acid.
carbonic acid rain and sulfuric acid rain
Only acid rain, normal rain does not contain acid.
