I believe you mean phases. If so, there is solid, liquid, gas, and plasma. Solids are dimensional, they have a fixed molecular arangement, and take up a given amount of space (Example: ice). Liquids have free moving molecules and will take the shape of the container in which they reside but like a solid, have a set volume at a given temperature and pressure (Example: water). A gas will take the shape of the container in which they reside as well, but unlike a liquid, will expand to fill the entire space regardless of their temperature and pressure (Examples: Steam or helium). Plasma is made of freely moving ions and electrons. Because of it's charged nature, it may be controlled with a magnetic field (Examples: stars, flourescent lights flames and lightening). These 4 phases typically are consistent with the temperature of the material. The coolest (relatively) being solids, then liquids, then gas, and ending with plasma which exceeds 100,000 degrees fahrenheit.
There are five main phases of matter: solid, liquid, gas, plasma, and Bose-Einstein condensate. These phases represent the different states in which atoms and molecules can exist based on their energy levels and interactions.
Different phrases that mean the same thing are called synonyms.
Quantity phrases are word combinations that describe the amount or number of something. Examples include "a lot of," "some," "several," "a few," "many," "a couple of," and "a handful." These phrases provide clarity and specificity to convey the quantity of objects, people, or ideas in a sentence.
A physical property is a characteristic of matter that can be observed or measured without changing its identity. This includes attributes like color, shape, density, and temperature. These properties help identify and distinguish different substances.
The 4 big ideas of physical science are: understanding motion and forces, conservation of energy, conservation of matter, and structure and properties of matter. These ideas are fundamental in explaining the behavior and interactions of physical systems in the universe.
