A manipulated variable is the variable that has been changed in the experiment. A responding variable is the variable that has been kept through the whole experiment.
In an experiments, variables are aspects of the experiment that can be changed in order to achieve different results. Controlled variables are intentionally kept constant and unchanging. Manipulated variables are changed in order to test different theories.
In an experiment, the control group is your standard group.
The control variable (controlled variable) is the item or items you add to the control group to make it slightly different.
For example:
You want to see how fast a piece of paper falls, depending on it's shape. Your control group would be dropping a piece of paper flat at 6 meters from the group. Your control variable would be balling up that piece of paper. Now you would repeat the experiment with the control variable - and again drop the piece of paper from 6 meters.
The difference in time it takes for the paper to drop would tell you how much effect the control variable had on the experiement.
a control group= i know these people eat the same breathe the same drink the same....
a controled variable=
i know these people eat ( one of three things )
breathe( one of three things )
drink ( one of three things)
OUT OF CONTROL group/ variable
i know these people eat drink and breath....... what....??? i don't know
The manipulated variable is the variable that is changed in an experiment and the dependent variable is what is measured. For example, let's say you are interested in how stress affects heart rate in humans. Your independent variable would be the stress levels and the dependent variable would be the heart rate. You can directly manipulate stress levels in your human subjects and measure how those stress levels change heart rate.
in a scientific expiriment, the control (controlled variable) is the variable that stays the same between trials. the manipulated variable is the variable that you change between trials. for instance if you are measuring the effect of light on a growing plant, your contol would be the amount of water you use. the manipulated would be the amount of sunlight. there is also another variable. the independent variable. this is the one that changes between trials. it would be the amount of growth in the plant scenario.
The Answer to this Question is
YOUR MOM
The difference is that the independent variable is the one being changed (manipulated), dependent is not.
yes it is
Contrast is the difference in light and/or gloss that hits an object distinguishable. In ocular perception of the real world, contrast is resolved by the difference in the color and brightness of the object and other.
The variable measured in an experiment is called the dependent variable" the outcome factor". In contrast, the independent variable is the experimental factor that is manipulated; the variable who effect is being studied.
Between annual and a....? You have to actually put another word we can contrast it with -_- s'okay sweetheart just be more specific
Science investigates models of natural law using repeatable experiments as the ultimate arbiter. In contrast, history investigates past events by considering physical evidence, documentary evidence, and eyewitness testimony.
A kilopascal is a thousand pascal - a unit of pressure. "Absolute" means the actual pressure - this is in contrast to measuring a pressure DIFFERENCE (usually, how much higher some pressure is, compared to atmospheric pressure).
Contrast= difference Comparison= same
Normally it is "in contrast with..." But "to" is used when the difference is being emphasized.
The difference is that high contrast has more black and low contrast has more white.
Contrast is the difference between the "empties" and the "fulls".
Contrast in any difference, but in drawing it usually refers to difference in colouring (ie-a white flower on a black background provides high contrast).
Contrast is the difference in light and/or gloss that hits an object distinguishable. In ocular perception of the real world, contrast is resolved by the difference in the color and brightness of the object and other.
In Computer Programming and Mathematics, variables and constants are ways to refering to a value. For example X=1 and Y=2 The difference being, variables are meant to be arbitary and changable, while constants are meant to be fixed and unchangable. For example, there is no reason for the value of Pi to change. So the value of Pi would best be represented by a constant.
Contrast (in pictures) is the difference between the darkest and lightest colors.
Dynamic simulation is the use of a computer program to model the time varying behavior of a system. In contrast, steady state simulations cannot model variations in variables over time.
Comparing two things is finding what they have in common, contrast is how they are different.
Discrepancy means a degree of difference.
