Reynold's number is independent of the fluid that flows. Its expression is given as
N = rho V D / eta, rho is the density of the fluid, V the speed of the molecules, D the diameter of the tube through which the fluid flows. Eta is coefficient of viscosity of the fluid. If N is less than 2000 then the flow will be streamline or laminar. If N exceeds the value 3000 then the flow becomes turbulent. If N is in between 2000 and 3000 then the flow will be switching over in between laminar or turbulent now and then.
