There has been some misunderstanding about this topic. Technically, Vaso-motor Symptoms (VMS), commonly known as "hot flashes" is a symptom of primary estrogen failure--in other words, active menopause. Estrogen is unique among the 17-keto steroids (estrogen, progesterone and testotsterone, among a few others) in that symptoms of estrogen deficiency are evoked in **minutes**. For example, a woman who just had a complete hysterectomy (including ovaries) must leave the recovery room wearing an estrogen patch or she will go in to menopausal hot flashes before she even gets back to her room. It happens right away. That is why women get the sudden off-and-on onset of sweats and hot flashes as the ovaries go through their "death throes." Sustained bouts of ovarian failure in this fashion, along with elevated FSH and LH (as the pituitary tries to flog more estrogen out of the failing ovaries) is what signals actual menopause. Eventually, the woman's body re establishes homeostasis, and the body ajdusts to life without estrogen. There are therapies for that, but that is another subject. Pre-menopause on the other hand, is more poorly defined. (note: author is a pharmacist)
No, it is possible to go through menopause without hot flashes.
There are a number of possible symptoms for Hypersomnolence. The main symptom is excessive sleepiness during the daytime. It is thought to effect abut 5% of the population.
No of course not. Menopause is when your periods stop for good. If you thought you should be pregnant then maybe all the sperm died before it came to the egg.
It's bigger than normal...i thought that owuld be obvious :P
Menopause can sometimes tire the woman out to extremes, it might be possible that the hormonal change decreased your libido, I recommend going to an specialist and get treated.
oh yes it can. i had, had a backache for about a week. but i thought it was due to me starting a new exercise program. well turns out i took a pregnancy test as a joke. i was pregnant. my backache was my only symptom. i was 6 weeks along.
Every woman's experience with menopause is different and not all women suffer from menopause symptoms. For those who do face symptoms, the severity of both the physical and psychological symptoms can vary. Here are some of the symptoms of menopause:Hot flashesMood swingsDecrease in sex driveSweatingHeadachesRacing heartVaginal drynessSleep problemsOsteoporosisSome of these symptoms are discussed in more detail.Hot Flashes, Hot Flushes, and Night SweatsHot flashes are one of the most common menopause symptoms. It is a sudden feeling of heat that spreads throughout the body, but is mainly felt in the face and chest. When accompanied by a flushed look, they are sometimes referred to as hot flushes. They are often followed up by excessive sweating. Hot flashes are thought to be a chemical reaction caused by the lowering levels of estrogen.Hot flashes sometimes produce night sweats, which are periods of intense sweating during the night. The result can be difficulty sleeping or not getting a good night's sleep.Vaginal BleedingSome women experience irregular vaginal bleeding during menopause, which can sometimes be excessive and unpredictable. They may have menstrual cycles that occur more frequently or that become fewer and farther between. There is no set length of time for women to complete the full transition of menopause, therefore, it is difficult to determine how long this irregular bleeding will go on. Women who experience this symptom should be examined by their doctor.Symptoms Involving Emotions and Thought ProcessesMany women suffer from a number of different symptoms related to their cognitive ability and to emotions. These can include irritability, memory problems, quick mood changes, and fatigue.Other Menopause SymptomsThere are other physical changes related to menopause that some women report. They may gain weight and the body fat may build in the waist and abdomen more than other parts of the body.Changes related to the urinary tract can cause the need to urinate more often, leaking urine, and even a higher risk of urinary tract infections.Changes also take place in the texture of the skin. This can result in more wrinkles and adult acne.

Since you are referring to 'during menopause' I am assuming you are referring to perimenopause, the transitions until the 'final period'. Perimenopause can last as long as five years and even longer for some women - and typically begins in the mid 40s and last until the early 50s. 2% of women 55 years and older are premenopausal while the others have menopaused. While the period is sporadic and infrequent; you are still ovulating, so you can get pregnant. Interestingly, while there is a low probability of a pregnancy, there is high probability that a pregnancy is multiples. This is a good analogy of the chances of getting pregnant after the age of 50:"The risk of pregnancy after age 50 is about the same as the risk of pregnancy occurring in a 22 year old who is using condoms for contraception, and less than the risk if she were using a diaphragm. For women seeking a higher degree of protection, other contraceptive techniques may be used until age 55. Spontaneous pregnancy after age 55 is essentially nil."
I have never had or heard of this symptom during pregnancy and I have had two children. Although, we have been recently trying for another and I also had started to have to pain right above pubic area and thought that may be a symptom I had just never had before. So I went to see a dr to get it checked. It turned out I had a bladder infection. That is a symptom of a uti, even if you have no other symptoms of a uti. Like frequent urination, burning, etc.
It's possible. Try a pregnancy test (home testing kits are readily available).
The triangle game is a game that has no true existence or plot. it is a shroud of thought in a mentally ill or insane person's imagination to shield them from humiliation among the public. it is often a symptom of post traumatic stress or insanity syndrome
