I'm not sure how helpful this will be, but I'm 6+ months pregnant--I eat small meals several times a day (about every two-three hours my stomach is growling and I am a very healthy/normal weight for my height). The further along in her pregnancy a woman is, the more her baby presses up against her stomach, making large meals next-to-impossible. Heartburn and indigestion tend to become a problem once baby is taking up mom's abdomen, so smaller meals help prevent that. Mommies-to-be use a lot of energy throughout the day, so frequent eating (sometimes late in the day) is common : )
Just as every woman is different, every woman's pregnancy symptoms are different. So yes, some pregnant women get sick at night, others don't.

Yes, MOST pregnant women do eat a lot. When you are pregnant, your body needs vitamins, minerals, and extra calories. A woman may crave certain foods. Depending on how far along you are your baby's growth also affects the amount you eat. if you are 6 months you eat a lot because your baby is growing at a rapid rate.
Pork chitterlings are made from pig intestine and consumes a lot of time for the preparation. Pregnant women can consume chitterlings as it is considered harmless and often regarded as the soul food in Southern America.
