A lot of women track their flow and if you are pregnant and you experience abnormal amount of blood, blood clots big or small, painful cramps it's a good chance that you are having a miscarriage. First off you need to know if you are pregnant or not, if you are and you are having any of those miscarriage symptoms I named off please see your doctor immediately and if necessary go to the emergency room. If you know you are not pregnant and use birth control and experience some heavier than usual blood flow, know it could be a diet change, stress, and much more. I recommend taking some vitamin C pills daily because not only does it help keep the cold away but it can also reduce heavy menstrual bleeding.
normal bleeding will be the same as a normal period if a women misscarried she minght encounter servre stomache aches and pains low abdominal pains and a very much more heavier bleed may be slightly darker in color and alot heavier
my period had been 18 days late as of last night... and my stomach and back were hurting quite badly...like before i start my period. i also had a headache and my back keeps cracking...all normal signs of my period. and i went to the bathroom, and sure enough, there was a little blood. then this morning when i went to the bathroom, there wasn't any blood. however, the next time i went to the bathroom, it was heavier...like a period. and it's been like a period all day. i think there have been some clots (small ones, but i usually get the same thing during my period) and some of the blood has been a darker red, almost brown....i had been planning on taking another HPT either this weekend or monday, but i seem to have started my period. i took my first HPT when i was 8 days late and it was negative. is it possible that i was pregnant and i had a miscarriage or just that my period was really late because of all the stress (i have been under a LOT of stress lately)? I've had some irregular periods, but never 18 days late. I'm really curious because I've heard if you have a miscarriage, you have to have a D&C to get the remaining tissue out or it could be very harmful to my body. is it safe to assume it's just a late period? any advice would be helpful. thanks again.
if it were early in the pregnancy, it would seem like a really heavy period. bad cramps, blood and clots. a miscarriage later in pregnancy would have a lot of blood and tissue that is not normal for a period, and the cramps would probably be a lot worse. I've wondered if I've ever had a miscarriage and didn't know, if it happened close to the time of a regular period I wouldn't know.
Usually during pregnancy you get wierd urges to eat abnormal things, like brocolli ice cream. It may be a hyperbale but still, you get the point. Plus, as time draws near, you may feel little jumps and kicks in your stomach as the baby outgrows your womb. Lastly, you make urinate at any given time without warning.
A miscarriage is losing a fetus accompanied by bleeding. A period is the sluffing off of the uterine lining each month when a pregnancy has NOT occurred.
it hurts more and there is a LOT more of it. bigger and more blood clots also
in pregnancy vaginal bleeding is very very light. so that that you really dont need a pantie liner. the spotting also is usually a brownish color and not a bright red period blood.
A very early one, yes.
Well, the difference is in the amount of pain you experience. Miscarriage hurts more according to all the experts in this field. Hope this helps
How can you tell the difference between an early period and implantation bleeding?
You will start seeing tissue which is different from your blood clots, maybe even a sac or if ruptured the actual baby. You will KNOW.
Yes, you can take a urine test while on your period. Doctors can tell the difference between period blood and other blood, but just to be sure, tell the doctor before hand that you have your period so they know that nothing is wrong.
because they are short term long term you what you say ,mister tell your teacher he/she is weird
A miscarriage means you have definitely lost the baby, there is usually lots of cramping and clots. A threatened miscarriage means just that, you are still pregnant but may miscarry in the future. Any spotting while pregnant can be called a threatened miscarriage and many women go on to have healthy babies. If you still have signs of pregnancy like swollen and sore breasts it is probably just a threatened miscarriage. Most doctors will order an ultrasound scan to tell for sure. I should think that a blood test (Quantitative HCG) would be more reliable than ultrasound. Levels are decreased in the case of miscarriage, threatened &/incomplete abortion, & if the fetus is dead.
No you can not.
graphs are used to tell the difference between things; to see how much something has changed over a certain period of time : )
Can you tell the difference between Vyvanse and Concerta in a drug test
how can you tell the difference between a tortoise and a turtle by shell in picture
When you get your period it is uterus blood. Your period is the uterus shedding its lining if you do not get pregnant. All month your uterus builds up its lining for if your egg gets fertilized, and when/if it does not get fertilized, you have your period at the end of the month.
Well a miscarriage is usually taken as a womans period. That's why when girls get there "period" after feeling pregnancy symptoms, they write it off as a period, not a miscarriage. You can tell him you started bleeding on your way home and went to the doctor. But you really should tell him you don't want to have a child now. Be honest and don't lead him on. Always living in fear of getting pregnant can't be fun.
