Connective tissue is one which is rich in intercellular substance or interlacing processes with little tendency for the cells to come together in sheets or masses. Aponeuroses is the connective tissue that connect muscles to muscles . Tendons connect skeletal muscles to bones.

No. There are 4 types of tissue; epithelial, connective, muscle, and neural tissue. Connective tissue is used as a filler, for support, storage, and insulation. Muscle tissue is different in that impulses create contraction, which causes movement.

While skeletal muscle and connective tissue may share some traits (support, insulation to some degree), they are different in form and function.

Skeletal muscle is the type of muscle that allows you to move your bones. These are voluntary muscles. Connective tissue is in your body in tendons, which connect muscle to muscle, ligaments, allows muscle to bone, and joints connect bone to bone. Connective tissue is in tendons, which connects skeletal muscle to other skeletal muscle. Hope this helps!

What are the four primary tissues in adult organ?

Epithelial Tissue- this tissue covers any bodily surface including organs, body cavities, and glands. There are subcategories of Epithelial Tissue, which are Squamous (pavement) , Simple Columnar, Simple Cuboidal, Glandular, Stratified, and Ciliated Columnar. The main functions of epithelial tissue are sensation, absorption, protection, cleaning, reduction of friction, excretion, diffusion, and secretion. Connective Tissue- this tissue forms blood, cartilage, and bone. It is classified into dense connective, loose connective, reticular, elastic, and adipose. Muscle- contractile tissue that causes movement in an organism as well as internal functions. The three types of muscle tissue are skeletal, smooth, and cardiac. Nervous Tissue- this tissue is responsible for sending and receiving messages from muscle tissue to the brain. Nervous tissue is composed of neurons.
