If the kidneys fail and proper treatment is not given the person is liable to die. People can also survive with one kidney but such people cannot do labour intensive work or play fast paced outdoor games. Pain during excretion is the primary indicator of problems in kidneys, it may also lead to Diabetes. Proper medical care and consumption of plantain pith juice is beneficial for the kidneys.
