What could cause sharp stabbing pain in inner right hip?

This can be caused by sitting too much (perhaps at work behind a computer) or even at home. It's your bodies way of telling you to get up and get some exercise. You could also be suffering from Arthritis, or Osteoporosis. A sciatic nerve (hip to the full length of the leg). Poor posture. Problems with you feet. If your feet are sore, tired, heavily calloused or you have a plantar wart on the ball of your foot your body will compensate for that by putting the weight automatically on the good leg causing hip problems, back problems. It's best to see your doctor for a proper diagnosis.
