Skeletal - Skeletal muscle is the muscle that is attached to the skeleton across joints. It is under voluntary control as we decide when to contract them and produce movement. Skeletal muscle is arranged in rows of fibres and is also called striated, or striped, due to its appearance. The co-ordinated contractions of skeletal muscles allow us to move smoothly and produce sports skills. There are over 700 skeletal muscles in the human body and they make up around 40% of our bodyweight. Skeletal muscle is responsible for the following functions:
-Producing movement
-Maintaining body posture
-Generating heat to keep us warm
-Storage of glycogen for energy
opposing muscles also called antagonistic muscles
The biceps muscle is made of skeletal muscle, and it flexes your arm.
striated muscle. all muscle that wrap the bones is called striated muscle.
there are 3 types of muscles in human. cardiac muscle, smooth muscle and the striated muscle.
The biceps is a voluntary muscle of the upper extremity. It is a flexor muscle, and bends the arm at the elbow.
Skeletal Muscle.
The biceps brachii is a muscle.
The biceps include both skeletal muscle tissue and connective tissue. The skeletal muscle tissue is responsible for the movement of the biceps, while the connective tissue helps to support and stabilize the muscle fibers.
Motor
smooth muscle cell tissue
The effector muscle is the biceps brachii.
A biceps is any muscle with two heads.
No, the biceps is a muscle in your arm.
for biceps it is triceps
Pronator teres muscle The supinator muscle acts with the biceps brachii to supinate the forearm.
when you bend your elbow, what is the triceps muscle acting as in relation to the biceps muscle
biceps brachii
The biceps femoris is not a common type of muscle used as food but it is possible. It would most likely be used as a steak.
