When does milk stop coming out of breast?

Breastmilk leaks for a number of reasons. 1. The breast is too full to store anymore. 2. as an automatic response which triggers the letdown reflex, which can either be the sound of a baby crying, or actually seeing a baby. This is natures way of basically saying that the breast either needs emptying, or that you have a underlying want to breastfeed a baby,.. in some cases any baby really as the entire practice of breastfeeding back in primal times usually had more then 1 mother involved, by this i mean that multiple women would breastfeed each others children. As time goes on your breasts will begin to dry up and leakage will begin to stop. This amount of time differs among women.

Your body will start to make milk when your about 3-4 months pregnant. It can leak during late pregnancy, and sometimes earlier depending on the person and how many pregnancies you've had. When the placenta is delivered a hormone is released which triggers milk production. At first you will have something called colostrum which has all the antibodies and other nutrients your baby will need for the first few days.

When the child is 2 - 3 years old. Because until then you should be breastfeeding it.
