The difference is the amount of APAP, Like the Hydrocodone 5-325 is Norco It has less APAP which is Acetaminophen (Tylenol) . The Hydrocodone 5-500 is Vicodin, and it has the same amount of the Narcotic but more APAP.

The main differences between these two pills are the dosages of ingredients. Basically, they are the same medication...a combination of hydrocodone and acetaminophen (generic Tylenol). The Norco has twice as much hydrocodone as the 5-500mg hydrocodone tablet. Norco has less acetaminophen (325mg) than the hydrocodone tablet (500mg).
