James II of Scots died 3rd August 1460 aged 29 in Roxburgh Castle. He died when one of his own cannon exploded during the siege of the castle.


James II of England and Ireland and VII of Scots died of a brain hemorrhage in the French Royal chateau of Saint-Germain-en-Laye on 16th September 1701 aged 67.
