How was Hitler as a person?

Hitler was cruel, especialy to jews, which he put in death camps. According to Ian Kershaw's biography Hitler was a lazy leader with a disorganized lifestyle. As a result his servile underlings often tried to guess what he wanted and what would please him. With large numbers of people hovering around him all trying to gain favour, and their underlings in turn brown-nosing like crazy, fanaticism became standard in Nazi Germany. There is a great movie, it is German, the Englsih title is "Downfall." You should watch it.

Hitler was very charismatic and ambitious, these traits were admired by the Germans and made him a very effective leader. But as a leader, he was also adamant and always dubious on his generals.

His Charisma, he knew how to spark the people on fire. When he wanted to say something, she said it by thunder. It is also said that he had a peircing stare. Alot of emotion was put into what he said and did. Whereever he went, other's followed. Though I don't condone his morality, but he was a gifted leader.

obviously a very good one as he was also a riveting public speaker, he had a lot of energy and as a dictator he had a lot of support and therefore controlled Germany by playing on the people's wishes and fears(they didn't want to be weak and defeated like they had been in ww1 and they wanted to rise again to be a strong country) Of course there were many attempts to kill him but none succeeded.
