He was the Fuhrer (literally, Leader) of Germany. As such he wielded absolute power over that country. He came to that position with one intention in mind, to start a second war in order to avenge Germany's defeat in the first. From the moment he came to power in 1933 his every effort was directed at preparing Germany for war. When he thought they were ready, he launched it. Michael Montagne Hitler was an extremist polititian that expressed his views through the country's political views. He wanted to become something powerful. So he went with the country's view points. Though many people think that it was the country's fault (Germany) that led Hitler to power it may be untrue because they never knew he would lead to such disaster.
