Adolf Hitler took everything away from the Jewish people. He really did not do it gradually. When the people arrived in the concentration camps they had all of their belongings taken away and were told what type of jobs they would be doing. People that Hitler didn't feel would be good candidates for working or his experiments went straight to the gas chambers.
The genocide that took place due to Hitler's prejudice against the Jews was the HOLOCAUST.
During the Pre-Holocaust period in Nazi Germany, Hitler and the German Legislature stripped Jews of the right to intermarry. However, Jews, in most of history, were not allowed to intermarry by Christian and Muslim leaders (unless they would convert or effectively split off from the community and refuse to raise their children as Jews).
In September 1935, the Nürnberg Laws are enacted by the Reichstag that stripped German Jews of most legal protections & civil rights.

Because Hitler wanted to establish a super race and also wanted to exterminate all the Jews, which was called the Halocaust. The question was why the Germans took away the guns that the Jews had. That was in all probability so that the Jews could not blow the corrupt heads off the Germans should they have had a chance.
It sounds as if you are thinking of the Nuremberg Laws of 1935. Please see the related question.
