To find other Nationalities or races within the ranks of the Mexican Army should and would have been an anticipated phenomenen. The mercenaries of the world migrate to where their talent is best paid and most needed. An honest broker of such skills has a nose for the hot spots of the world and even in 1846 commercial transportation was available from continent to continent.
