Hitler believed Jews were inferior and threatened Germany's great existence. He believed that Germany lost WWI because of the Jews and blamed them for Germanys economic trouble. Hitler's aim was to place all Jews into concentrated ares such as camps to segregate them from the German public and eventually kill them all.

The German Jews owned all the banks and money supplies. They lend money with loan shark rates. The German Jews possessed keys to the economy. They owned the media: 21 newspapers were owned by German Jews out 24. The above created a situation were non German Jews became penniless. Famine dominated Germany. People wanted someone to lead them out of the famine and their economic misery. They found out the cause: The German Jews control of the economy and their misery. So Hitler came to the rescue!

Note that the above is pretty much Hitler's own rationale. He wanted a scapegoat for Germany's problems following her military and economic defeat and humiliation of WW1, and, backed by strains of anti-Semitism and the contemporary pseudo-science of 'eugenics', found it in the Jews.
