The line of succession always goes down the line through the monarch's eldest child until you reach a monarch with no children, then it goes across to the eldest sibling and down through the eldest child again, then to eldest aunt/uncle and down, and so on.
Prince Charles is Queen Elizabeth's eldest child, so he is next in line and heir apparent.
Prince William is Prince Charles's eldest child, so he is second in line and heir apparent.
Prince George is Prince William's eldest child, so he is third in line and heir apparent.
Princess Charlotte is Prince William's second eldest, she is currently fourth in line, but will be displaced if and when George has kids, so she is heir presumptive.
Prince Harry is Prince George's uncle, so is fifth in line, but he will be displaced if William or George have kids, so he is heir presumptive.
