Sugar. It's easier to carry, and peanut butter sticks to the roof of their mouth. sugar is right but peanut butter does NOT stick to the roof of their moths they prefer it merely because it provides more energy and is simpler to digest

Bees is the common name for all sorts of bees in that family, and people incorrectly include wasps and hornets in that group. If you are referring to Honey Bees (Apis Mellifera), then honey is the correct answer. Bees are not focused on losing weight, they are focused on surviving the winter with as many bees as possible, and they need a high calorie food to do so. Artificial Sweeteners are just chemicals that fool a human brain into thinking they are sweet, but since they are not actually food, bees will reject them completely.

What do ants eat do they like sugar better than cheese?

AnswerAnts prefer sugar over cheese... they're attracted to sugar, like the sugar in your lemonade or something when you're on a picnic rather than a cheese sandwich. They do eat pretty much anything you give them, they munch on the corpses of insects larger than them, like grasshoppers. They also eat the syrup-like nectar texture from some plants... you can research further into the subject yourself, this is just what I know.

Do ants prefer cheese or sugar?

It depends about the type of ant, and the season. I would say both are equally attractive, but the one with more moisture may be more palatable. so cheese. Think of ants more simply. ants are only after 3 types of food sources. Carbohydrates (normaly sugas), Protene (Normally other insects, meats) and water ( foods may contain water such as Soda, but ants may be found around a kitchen sink mainly for the water.) They lack the complex livers of mammals and cannot convert protene to energy. it is only used to create more ants. So they need a lot of it.

You can place a container of honey and a container of butter equal distances away from an ant pile. The container with the most ants will help you determine whether they are more attracted to honey or butter.
