i own five rabbits. they all live outside. in my whole life (13 yrs) i have owned ...7. i have never bathed a rabbit in my life. EVER. and neither has my dad who use to own rabbits as well. or my BFF who showed rabbits. and people who show rabbits usually have a LOT. and she has like mega expeirence with rabbit handling. it gets pretty hot in the summer where i live. we take the hose, spray down each of my pet rabbits pens, and whenever they get a bit on them they kick and try to shake it off. i think u would either hurt the rabbit or yourself if u try to give it a bath. plus rabbitsdo the cat thing where they give themselves a bath. have u ever seen a rabbit on its hind legs licking its paws and then run its paws over its face? 1. its adorable and 2. that's how they clean themselves. but say ur rabbit is COVERED in mud, wet mud, then maybe try to clean it off with a damp cloth. but it all comes down to how friendly ur rabbit is. and the climate its use to. if it is in the middle of winter and it was outside and u try to give it a hot bath, it might go into shock. but that is extreme. im just typing what i know.
