Because chi's spend so much time being held, cuddled and loved on they tend to pick up odors quickly. I use a little drop of baby shampoo (because of it's gentleness) and shower mine once a week.
Any dog should be bathed at least once a month, once a week or more often is fine too just make sure your dog's skin can handle it
Everyone says once a week to once a month but I wash mine once a week or when he starts to smell. He is fine, he suffers from flees so I wash him frequently.
I would say about every month
when it needs one
Try a oatmeal bath and some baby lotion
Yes it is very easy. All you have to do is give it a bath frequently and your done. If its a long haired chihuahua then you have to brush it and may have to shave it down a little every summer.

you don't need to bath them often, they clean themselves regularly if you bath them too often then there coat may become greasy so don't over do it. I'd say bath tem if they REALLY smell.
Unless the dog has fleas and you need a shampoo that'll kill them, human shampoo should work just fine on your dog.
I'd take a bath. I often take a bath when I am upset.
