True Rhinoceroses like dinosaurs evolved during the last period of the mesozoic era (Age of reptiles) called Cretaceous period .They are now categorized as ceratopsians.Their size ranged from few centimeters to 10 m.To identify them we have mainly two charcterisitics just like rhinoceroses : 1. Their nose or front tilted two head horns just like rhinoceroses. 2. Their peculiar and obvious frill to protect their neck(Absent in Rhinos) 3. Their leg muscle , backbone and neck muscle attachments for their characterisitic charging ability.

It's not really fair to compare any extinct dinosaur to a modern animal but superficially ceratopsians (animals like Triceratops and Styracosaurus.) have similarities. They have similar body plan and both have horns on their heads.

It's important to realise that other than those similarities they are very different unrelated creatures.
