I'm afraid not, unless you have a 1st generation 60gb PlayStation 3, none of the new ones do it or the 80 and 40 GB.

The PS3 CECHE model of the 80 GB with 4 USB ports does and so does the 2nd Model with 20 GB and no WiFi

On the older model PS3 with 4 USB ports most games PS2 can be played, but not on PS3 consoles than have only 2 USB ports.
