Trees use lungs to breath, whereas humans use gills.
Humans and chimpanzees share 94% of the same DNA. By comparing certain genes of chimpanzees to those of humans, scientists can tell the approximate number of generations since humans and chimpanzees shared a common ancestor. It is believed that the ancestors of humans and chimpanzees diverged between four and six million years ago. In other words, it is support for evolution and the fact that humans evolved from great apes.

the first humans reached North America during the Ice Age when they were following animals during the Ice Age. The animals were looking for a warmer area to live so they had crossed the Bering Strait, a land bridge that connected Asia to North America, the first Americans had crossed the Bering Strait.
Neanderthals did not migrate across the Bering land bridge as they primarily inhabited Europe and parts of western Asia. The land bridge was used by early human populations to migrate from Asia to the Americas.
They just made their way there as part of the early human diaspora (across the Bering land bridge) and because there was a living to be had there, settled and thrived. Some of their descendants also migrated south to populate the Southern American continent. Remember all humans originally started out in Africa.
There were two groups of first Americans. One group came across the land bridge in the Bering Sea. The other came up from South America.
