Yes, they are Jatts. We have an extended family from similar Hoshairpur areas who are married to Randhawa, Dhillon and Sandhu Jatt clans.

No my dear Chauhans are absolutly not Jatt (in Pujab near hoshiarpur some people say they are jatt (chohans) but inreality they are not Jatt. They belong to Agnivansh of Rajput lineage.

Yes, Thandi is Jatt Sikh. There is a Thandi pind near Nawanshahr named Daulatpur, along with the Thandian pind by Banga. There are so many villages in Doaba where the Thandi lived. One Pind is also in Malwa Manakwal of Thandis. As per History of Manakwal, one person named Manak come from Doaba to Malwa on request of his wife who was daughter of Dhandra Village. All the thandi resident of Manakwal are family of Mr. Manak.
