Is clay dead One Tree Hill?

Well, at the end of the latest season, we see the psychopathic Katie, who pretended at first to be all sweet and lovely because she wanted Clay to sign her up to his agency, but when he accidentally calls her Sarah, she researches her and pretends to be her, dying her hair blonde and convincing herself that she's Sara, and trying to convince Clay too. When the very last two episodes of the season, the very last episode at the end, Clay and Quinn are seen cuddling, she says she's tired, and Clay says to go to bed, and so she does. But when she finally gets into the bedroom, she flicks on the light and there's Katie with a gun, she shoots Quinn and Quinn collapses on the floor, Clay hears the gunshot and runs to the bedroom, where Katie shoots him too. He falls back onto the door, and collapses on the floor, leaving a streak of blood on the door. You see Katie leave, and the camera goes back onto Quinn and Clay sprawled near eachother, surrounded by blood and then the very last episode ends, and we have to wait and see until next season! :)

The cliff hanger at the close of Season 7 was that Clay and Quinn were shot by Katie, the psychotic tennis player, who looked like Clay's dead wife. Clay and Quinn do survive and make it to finish out the series.
