Pokemon diamond how to get poke radar?

first beat the Pokemon league and complete the sinnoh pokedex.

then talk to prof. rowan and youll get the natinal pokedex from oak and the pokeradar from rowan. Then go and use it in diffrent routes and catch rare Pokemon. (ex: catch flaaffy on route 222)

if your playing platinum, do the same and youll be able to get the three legendarie bird Pokemon: Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres when you go into his house in eterna city.

Beware the three legendarie bird Pokemon are all at lv.60, and are very very hard to catch.

You must complete your Diamond/Pear pokedex. To get Diagla's/Palkia's pokedex go to celestial town and talk to these people in one of the houses. After you have pokedex go to the Proffeser lab and talk to your rival guy (not the one with the blond hair). He will give you the radar, if that doesn't work talk to the prof.

To use the Poke Radar, you'll need to open your bag then go to the Key Items menu. Scroll down till you see it if it's not in sight. Select it, then choose "Use". (I recommend Register for quick use) If you are in tall grass, the grass will shake and you are allowed to choose any of those shaken grass patches. You can "chain" Pokemon by encountering the same Pokemon repeatedly without a different Pokemon appearing. This also increases the chances of a shiny (sparkles will appear on the shaking grass) Pokemon appearing.
