What did Gibbs whisper in Ziva's ear?

He says this after Malachi is told about his smoking gun, at which point she knows she is going to be exonerated and turn her back on her father, who has betrayed her anyway, leaving her without "family."

The details of what Gibbs whispers in Ziva's ears at the end of the Interrogation in the episode "Good Cop, Bad Cop" is not revealed. Director Leon Vance, who was on the other side of the interrogation room who was hearing everything wasn't able to hear it. Maybe it was some personal advise or a welcome back message.

Mark Harmon has said in a interview that he won't say what he said to Cote de Pablo in the episode. The most likely explanation is he actually said nothing or atleast it will never be revealed.

I know Gibbs said not to say you're sorry due to it being a sign of weakness....but that is exactly what he said to Kate when he leaned over her casket. "I'm sorry, Kate."
