What ever happend to dancer Joy Ciro who was one of the Action Kids on the 1960s tv show Where The Action Is?

I only know her given name, Joy Colsant. She spent part of here young teen life in Altadena/Pasadena area of L. A. and went to Jr. high and high school in that area. Around 1954-57 I believe. She attended dances at the Altadena Town and Country Club around that time also. Don't know where and "if" she is today.

She was indeed born Joy Colsant, daughter of Frances "Mae" Partipilo and Albert Colsant of Chicago. According to my research, she was born about 1941 either in Chicago or possibly Los Angeles, and was the first wife of Bobby Hatfield of The Righteous Brothers. So it appears "Joy Ciro" was her stage name. I believe she may have been married a second time to a Mr. McCown, and besides the two sons she had with Mr. Hatfield, she had a daughter Shari Dee Hatfield who passed away in 1997 in Florida. She was living in Newport Beach, California until fairly recently. My distant cousin Donna McGinley remembers seeing pictures of her first cousin and told me, "she was a real knockout!" (part Irish and part Italian) I'm distantly related thru her mother's side.

I met her in an Apartment complex in Newport Beach Ca. Called The Waterfront. I was the service tech. {and still am} She moved there around March of 2017. I had my hand full with her, she submitted workorders on a daily basis, and she was looking for me all the time because she wanted small repairs all the time. She was a really nice lady. She wood always tell me the story of life about how she met Bobby Hatfield and the fun she had working as a dancer, specially in Vegas. She would show me a suitcase full of memory pictures. She was a very generous lady, I was glad and happy I met her, hear her stories. Her son’s moved her out, I think in 2019 and put her in a senior living nearby in Newport Beach. She called me just like 2 weeks ago, I could not talk to her, she was having cell phone bad connection. I hope she is doing ok.,
