Your probably not going to believe this but I am a relative of John Hancock. Obviously not like a second cousin because he was from so long ago. But, during his lifetime/before he died, he gave my family his own hand crafted silver with our family name engraved on it. Since then my Uncle, who had the silver died, so we now have it. To answer your question, yes he did have relatives. I am one of them, just a very very distant one.
