Many people say he could have avoided that death if he had acted differently, but no one knows forsure. The Titanic was a ship that everyone wanted to go on. With 2,228 passengers on this ship that included 337 on first class, 285 on second class, 721 on third class, and 885 crew members. With 2,228 passengers on the Titanic only 705 survived on that tragic day. Still not all the mysteries are solved, but we know a lot more than we did earlier.
