I know for a fact you can pick one up in the top left corner of Mount Moon 1st floor. Some are scattered around the rest of the world as well, I think there is one beside Veridian Forrest, (the area on the right where you have to use CUT to get to)
I am sure there are more moonstones (4 Pokemon in R/B evolve using moonstones) so there should be around 4.
