She explained to Dave that Bieb's manager actually called her mom, who's also her manager, to set up a meeting between the two. When Dave pushed further to see if she'd actually admit they are dating, Selena just said:
"He's been in my life for so long, and it's just nice to have someone that understands what you're going through."
