In 80s Metallica was : James Hetfield(rhythm guitar,vocals),Lars Ulrich(drums),Dave Mustaine (lead guitar)and Ron McGovney(bass). Then Ron left the band, James kicked off the band Dave, and here comes the new lead guitarist Kirk Hammett =>all in one day.And then Cliff joined the band after Metallica moved in San Francisco.Then Jason Newsted joined the band after Cliff`s death.Then Jason left the band and here`s our Robert Trujillo.So the former band-members are Ron McGovney,Dave Mustaine, Cliff Burton and Jason Newsted.
