Oh, dude, in The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy meets the Scarecrow first, then the Tin Man, and finally the Cowardly Lion. It's like a weird, twisted version of speed dating, but with way more singing and dancing. So, if you ever find yourself in a magical land with talking animals, just remember the order: Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion.

Toto in the cyclone and Toto, the Tin Woodman, the Scarecrow and the Cowardly Lion in Oz are those who go with Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz."Specifically, Dorothy's pet dog Toto is with her when the cyclone lifts the family farmhouse off its foundations and takes it over the rainbow and into the magical land of Oz. Dorothy and Toto have to travel to the Emerald City in order to find a way back home to Kansas. In the process, they meet up with the Cowardly Lion, the Scarecrow and the Tin Woodman, who become the two earthlings' traveling companions in Oz.
The Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and the Cowardly Lion are the three traveling companions to Dorothy Gale and her pet dog Toto in the beautiful, enchanted, magical lands of "The Wizard of Oz."Specifically, Dorothy and Toto end up in Oz after their house is uprooted during a tornado in their home state of Kansas. Friendly Munchkins and a good witch tell the two accidental visitors to follow the Yellow Brick to the Emerald Palace of the Wizard of Oz in order to find a way back home. On the way to the Emerald City, Dorothy and Toto meet and make friends with three Oz natives, in the order in which they are listed above.Dorothy and Toto travel to the Emerald City with the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodsman, and the Cowardly Lion.
In terms of her three friends, Dorothy met the Cowardly Lion last. In terms of everybody in the lands of Oz, she met Glinda the Good Witch of the South last. For author and Oz series originator Lyman Frank Baum [May 15, 1856-May 5, 1919] had Dorothy spend most of the book trying to meet the Wizard of Oz, and get him to help her and her three friends in the realization of their individual requests. When she was prevented from following through on the Wizard's plan for her return to Kansas, she then turned her sights on Glinda for help. And so the last part of Baum's book dealt with Dorothy's attempts to meet the Good Witch of the South, and get her to help in the return to life with Uncle Henry and Aunt Em.
There were many problems for the characters to solve in the beloved 1939 film version of 'The Wizard of Oz'. Among the first was keeping Dorothy Gale's pet dog Toto safe from Almira Gulch. Another was Uncle Henry, Aunt Em, Dorothy, and Toto keeping out of the path of the Kansas twister. Still another was Dorothy keeping clear of the apple trees that fought back when she and the Scarecrow tried to get something to eat. Yet another was Dorothy and her four friends keeping away from the Wicked Witch of the West. As an example, the five friends nearly died in the deadly poppy fields. For example, they had to figure out how to protect themselves from the Witch's deadly bees. In the way of another example, they faced the challenges of killing the Witch, and getting themselves and her broomstick out of her Castle. Throughout the movie, the five friends found their biggest, most enduring problems to be realizing their dreams. For example, Dorothy wanted to get herself and Toto back home to Kansas. The Cowardly Lion wanted courage. The Scarecrow wanted brains. The Tin Woodman wanted a heart. In the process, they dealt with the problem of getting the Wizard to keep his promiseto help them meet their dreams. Once the dreams were met for Dorothy's three friends, she and Toto confronted the problem of an alternate route home once the Wizard's hot air balloon left without them.
In The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy Gale gives the Golden Cap to Glinda the Good Witch of the South, and the means of transportation to their new kingdoms to the Tin Woodman, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion. For the wearer of the Cap may have three wishes carried out by the Winged Monkeys. Dorothy lets Glinda use the wishes to the benefit of her three friends, even though she and her pet dog Toto need to get back home to Kansas. Having used up the wishes, Glinda then turns the Cap over to the Monkeys. Thereby, she and Glinda get the Tin Woodman, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion safely to their respective kingdoms of Winkieland, the Emerald City, and the Grand Old Forest. And thereby, they also give the Monkeys freedom from ever having to fetch for anyone ever again.
A young girl named Dorothy gets caught in a tornado and brought to the magical land of Oz, where her house lands on the Wicked Witch of the East. The Good Witch of the North gives Dorothy the Wicked Witches magic silver shoes and tells her the Wizard who lives in the Emerald City in the center of Oz can send her home. Dorothy goes on a journey to meet the Wizard and ask him to send her home. Along the way, she meets a Scarecrow who wants a brain, a Tin Woodsman who wants a heart, and a Lion who wants courage. The four make it to the Emerald City where the Wizard tells them to kill the Wicked Witch of the West. They go and Dorothy accidentally melts her with a bucket of water. They return to the Wizard, who reveals he is a carnival man from Omaha. He gives the three Ozians gifts representing the virtues they wanted and promises to bring Dorothy home in a hot air balloon. The balloon leaves without her on accident. Dorothy and her friends go to see the Good Witch of the South, Glinda, to find out how to get Dorothy home. Glinda tells her the silver slippers can carry her across the desert. Dorothy clicks her heals and returns home.
The Yellow Brick Road is in the fictional "Wizard of Oz" story. Dorothy is knocked unconscious and has a dream (which takes up the bulk of the story). In the dream, she follows the Yellow Brick Road to get to the Emerald City, also called Oz, to ask the wizard to help her get back home.
In the original 1900 book edition of 'The Wizard of Oz', the first two characters that the reader meets are Dorothy Galeand Uncle Henry. The two are mentioned in the first line of the book. In that same sentence, Aunt Em is mentioned third. In the beloved 1939 film version, the first two characters are Dorothy and Aunt Em. Dorothy interrupts Aunt Em in the middle of farmyard chores. That interaction quickly brings in Uncle Henry too.
Scarecrow, then tinman, then the cowardly lion
well i have heard that wizard powers are real. but the only way to know is to actually meet a wizard
Each one of the five friends had dreams, requests, and wishes for which the Wizard of Oz's help was sought. Dorothy Gale and her pet dog Toto wanted to get back home to Kansas. The Tin Woodman wanted a heart. The Scarecrow wanted a brain. And the Cowardly Lion wanted courage. To each of her three friends, Dorothy explained that she was going to get help from the Wizard in solving her problem. She accepted their company along the way, and was willing to share her possibilities for a meeting with her and Toto's new-found friends.
