Yes, Slim Shady is a very talented artists. He innovated a new rap genre that focused more on intelligent play of words to highlight awareness of the problems around as a youth growing up in an area known as 8 mile. Interesting choices for your top two, but I wouldn't suggest only those two, although both great albums, Eminem was just getting started then. To hear the lyrical genius as a polished artist you have to listen to his later works (at minimum 5 you need to hear and at least the Marshall Mathers LP).
