George may be considered a DRAG QUEEN by some, though, I do not believe George considers himself a Drag Queen. CROSS DRESSERS or TRANSVESTITES are almost ALWAYS, straight men, who dress in women's clothing, and DRAG QUEENS, are almost always gay men who dress in women's clothing, and impersonate women.

No. Boy George is a gay male and identifies as such. The only reason anyone would question this is because during the years the band 'Culture Club' were popular, George dressed in ambivalent and some times feminine attire to shock and surprise people, not because he wanted to change his sex.

George is a boy :D Although it was speculated in 1987 that he was a girl ;). During an interview with Boy George, Frank Skinner asked George about the speculation.

George said that he got asked it all the time, but confirms he's definatley a guy.
