What does ACDC mean for the band ACDC?

The name acdc doesn't mean anything, its just the name of a type of battery either Malcolm and angus' sister or sister in law saw on her sewing machine or something like it, and thought it was a great name for the bands electric sound. They originally wanted to call the band the younger brothers, but it was already patened by Tina turner.

The brothers felt that this name symbolised the band's energy and power-driven performances.
