Most addicts know how to use, so this makes me think Jimi wasn't an addict, just a guy who miscalculated his dosages. You have to know your dealer, what he provides, and you learn to judge the dose by using the same stuff over and over. Another case in point; Janice Joplin was no addict, but she liked the occasional hit. She died from an OD as well, using more powerful H than she was used to. I know this for a fact, as I know some of her band mates who were with her at the time. I think Jimi went in the same way. Really a shame.
