Fleetwood Mac is a British-American rock band formed in 1967 in London by the band founder Peter Green. He named the group by combining the surnames of two of his former bandmates, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie.

Fleetwood Mac is a band that has not always had the same artists in its composition. Although it started as a blues band, Fleetwood Mac the popular band that we know so well, was made up of Mick Fleetwood, John Mc Vie, Christine Mc Vie, Lyndsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks.

Due to relationship problems between the two couples, Christine, Lyndsay and Stevie came and went from the band at various times, with other artists joining for a short period of time. At their last performance only Christine did not rejoin and she has indicated that she has retired permanently from the band.
