honestly its all oppinion kids today won't like santanas music as its more contemporary (Weird to put in laymens) and slash is more rock and roll.
Buckethead is another one to look at, listen to 5 or 6 of his songs before you make up your mind though.
yes but jimi hendrix, the edge, and those other rock ledgends are just as good as him
That is, of course, a matter of opinion but according to many rock magazines and such, Jimmy Page is the better guitar player.
Jimi Hendrix
They are both great guitarist but in my opinion its got too be buckethead ..... probably the best guitarist and shredder i know
Jimmi. All the way. Yes but Keith Richard makes a way better Pirate!
guitarist
Depends on what style of guitar you like. No doubt as a shredder, Yngwie was far more technically proficient and revolved his style around the diminished E scale, however, Jimi had more interesting songs and had that soul aspect that technical playing can't always bring.
CLAPTON WOULD TELL YOU HENDRIX That answer is as correct as you will see; good insight. Hendrix probably dug Clapton too. Clapton was in awe over the smooth playing legend, and planned on presenting him with a Stratocaster I think in England. Unfortunately, he never got the chance; that was when Hendrix died. Also, it depends on what you like. If you like someone who plays more eccentrically, watch Hendrix. He had no quams against smashing his guitar or setting it ablaze on stage. Clapton AND Hendrix. Two of the most powerfull and prolific guitarist' ever to take command of a stage. One of Jimi's most memorable solos in ' All along the Watchtower' is a guitar players dream to Clapton's subtle interlude in 'While my guitar gently weeps' will forever be engraved in the minds of guitarist's everywhere for years to come.

Stevie Ray Vaughn bwahaha! Name one song he ever wrote! No, it's Jimi Hendrix, of course! Even Stevie Vai is better than Vaughn. SRV is marginally better than Eddie Van Halen, that's all.
pink floyd as a band and hendrix as a solo artist
yes
